The Campaign Trail?

Any place you go these days there are so many options to choose. 

Whether it's coffee, bagels, ice cream, alcohol, marshmallows, Netflix or whatever else you indulge in, there is an overload. 

Don't get me wrong, I love Phish Food ice cream, but why not keep ice cream to a few flavors? 

I'll tell you why. 

Each one of us is unique and are attracted to different things. 

Just because you love hazelnut lattes with bee pollen (apparently that's a thing) doesn't mean everyone will ( I'm tempted to try it). 🐝

Which leads us to Step #7 in your marketing plan, campaigns. 

And no, I did not time this topic for election week.

Step #7 ➑️ Define a Broad Set of Campaigns 

What if you could have a marketing campaign that was so good, it would get you out of bed in the morning?

We're not saying your current plan isn't working. We're just saying: what if it could be even better?

These components that will get your campaign pointed in the right direction: 

βœ… A clearly defined outcome: All campaigns start with a defined outcome. 

βœ… Audience:  Are you targeting customers or trying to attract new ones? 

βœ… Offer: What are you offering? Trying to get people to signup? Purchase?

What types of campaigns should you run? 

It depends, but here are a few that are a great start:  

🎯 Brand Awareness: Spread the word of who you are and what you do! 

🎯 Rebranding: Spruce up your business and stay relevant.

🎯 Social Media Marketing: Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, oh my! 

🎯 User Generated Content: Get your audience to participate and help you create.

🎯 Email Marketing:  Send the emails. 

🎯 Referral Marketing:  Create a referral program.

🎯 Influencer Marketing: Engage a popular social media influencer to recommend you. 

You know your niche the best.

Make sure you campaigns can be measured by metrics in your goals and set targets.

Remember, people are ordering lattes with bee pollen 🐝
