Your marketing goals need to support your company goals.
A simple, yet effective goal setting formula is S.M.A.R.T.
Specific ➡️ I want to grow the number of leads on our website.
Measurable ➡️ I want to grow the number of monthly leads on our website by 20%.
Achievable ➡️ Since we generated about 20 leads from our website right now, I want to grow number leads to 24.
Relevant ➡️ I want to grow the website leads to 24 because our team closes 10% more website leads versus local event leads.
Time-bound ➡️ I want to grow the website leads to 24 because our team closes 10% more website leads versus local event leads. I'll reach 24 leads in the next 3 months.
Using the S.M.A.R.T framework you are not asking for ice cream, you are getting that delicious ice cream cone with the sprinkles!
