According to Mobile Marketing Magazine, the open rate of those texts is 98%.
People are reading them. 😳
So that's why this week we'll be sharing best practices around SMS(Short Message Service). aka. Text messages.
SMS Best Practices - Foundation 🤳🏻
You don't like random text messages and neither to your customers.
Things to consider:
✅ Get permission - This is critical to earning trust with your customers.
✅ Consider a short code - Short codes are 5-6 digit phone number that are made for marketing purposes. Easy to remember and you can send quickly.
✅ Be engaging - Once you have permission, be engaging and brief. It's about the OFFER!
✅ Be relevant - Use words that work for your brand.
✅ Respond Quickly - Have a conversation, ask for feedback and keep them engaged. People use chat bots, which offer quick response. But I'd encourage a hybrid method and make it personal!
