That was the question my friends and I were asked while we strolled through the Red Light District in Amsterdam 🚨

So nine of us, all agreed, we had to find out.

We entered this establishment (I use those words loosely) with excitement and wonder.

I'm not going to share what happens at the banana show (yet).

But I did learn a valuable marketing lesson.

Example:

Let's say you own an online candle business, like Rocking Candles

Some offers might include:

βœ… Free shipping for new customers

βœ… Free shipping for orders over $50

βœ… Free USB lighters for orders over $100

βœ… Join our candle club and receive VIP pricing

Get specific to your audience.

Is this offer for current customers?

Attracting new ones?

βœ… What would get you to buy your offer?

βœ… When was the last time you got hooked by an offer?

What’s Best Way to Use Offer?

  1. Create multiple types of offers.

  2. Put offers behind lead capture forms.

  3. Use CTAs and put them in the right place

  4. Create content around your offers

  5. Leverage social media

  6. Create different offers throughout the customer journey

  7. Use them in lead nurturing and your email marketing

The offer is critical in engaging, attracting and retaining customers.

Remember to get out of your comfort zone and like Apple in the 80s
